duck

Hubert Von Quack, 2019

Comp, Focus, Light

Our first assignment was to focus on composition, focus, and light. For the composition, I used the rule of thirds and a background with contrasting light. I focused on the duck and blurred the background so the subject of the picture was clear. For light, I made sure the sun was shining directly onto the duck.

Line Photo

In this photo, we had to guide the viewer's eye using lines. I used the lines of my violin strings and the grooves of the case to direct the eyes to the duck.

Almost there! There's a prize at the end~ Hover under the text "Show" on the Show Segments page. I made it easy this time for ya :)

Shape Photo

For our shape photo, I needed to take a picture of something that shows shape. I chose to take a picture of some pastries because of the heart shape and grooves on the side of the pie. Unfortunately the picture came out blurry and unfocused.

School Photo

I didn't get to have my duck in this photo because I took this last minute. We were assigned to take a picture of school. Mine is of my binder which is honestly not very good nor creative. I thought the lighting was cool at least
